IDV stands for Insured Declared Value. IDV is the current market value of your vehicle, and is the amount you will receive if the car is totally damaged, or in case of theft.
Yes, you can change your IDV to a maximum of + or – 10%. It is recommended that you go with the option we suggest, and a change in your IDV will impact your premium.
