big-banner-autism

Autism remains one of the topics that is not as widely discussed as it should be. To start communication around it, United Nations declared April 2nd as World Autism Day. Having open conversations around it would allow for a place that creates space for people with Autism and provide an environment for them to strive along with a health insurance policy.

Buying a comprehensive and an adequate health insurance plan is advisable for everyone, including people with autism. With an access to good health insurance plans, people with the condition can get the right medical attention when needed. In the right environment, they can flourish, as the following examples will prove.

Famous personalities with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

1. Michelangelo:

A lot of us have been wowed by The David or The Creation of Adam. The artist behind them, Michelangelo is an Italian Legend, who is well-known across the globe as a painter, architect, poet, and sculptor. Michelangelo had issues with his emotions, had issues with his temple, and wasn’t particularly fond of social interactions.

2. Lionel Messi:

Arguably one of the greatest football players of all time, with 7 Ballon d’Or awards to his name, Lionel Messi is known to be shy. In fact, during his early years, he hardly spoke with any of his teammates during training sessions.

3. Albert Einstein

The renowned mathematician and scientist earned the reputation of being one of the greatest minds of humanity. He is attributed with developing the Theory of Relativity. And it is widely believed that he had ASD.

4. Bill Gates:

Bill Gates is the co-founder of tech giant Microsoft and one of the richest people on the planet. There are several instances where his speech follows a monotone pattern and he has been seen in a rocking motion.

5. Sir Issac Newton:

Without Sir Issac Newton who knows how long it would have taken us to understand gravity and the laws of motion? He was known to always keep to himself and wasn’t particularly good at maintaining friendships as well.

6. Elon Musk:

The recent Twitter acquisition was another feather in the cap of Elon Musk, who already has SpaceX and Tesla under his belt. During an episode of Saturday Night Live, Musk made it public that he was on the Autism Spectrum.

7. Thomas Edison:

Thomas Edison has more than a hundred patents to his name and is regarded as one of the greatest inventors. He was obsessed with Morse Codes, and patterns, reading books in a specific order and loved keeping to himself, among others. He even called his children dot and dash.

8. Leonardo Da Vinci:

A lot of researchers have zeroed down that Leonardo Da Vinci could have ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The painter of the famous painting Monalisa is said to switch between different projects while working.

9. Charles Darwin:

Charles Darwin came up with the Theory of Evolution but avoided social interactions where possible and preferred written communication over meeting people.

10. Vincent Van Gogh:

The famous artist is known to have a lot of mood swings and wasn’t too fluent when it came to speaking as well.

Conclusion:

Autism can happen to anyone and we haven’t been yet able to zero down on the exact reason. Creating a safe space along with health insurance plans is the best way to move forward. Providing them with a health insurance plan will ensure that they have adequate coverage for when they need it.

The only thing that must be kept in mind that at the time of taking the insurance plan all pre-existing conditions are revealed to the insurance company so that there is no issue later at the time of a claim and it is a smooth process.
